Cinclus is your secure and reliable AI partner, providing access to various language models hosted on Nordic infrastructure.
With the nordic infrastructure Cinclus is ensuring your data is never stored or used for any other purpose. With Cinclus, you can explore and test different LLMs directly from your browser, while keeping full control of your privacy. Although still in early beta, and occasional bugs may occur, we are constantly working on improvements.
The first model available on Cinclus is Llama 3.1, a language model specifically tailored for the Nordic languages. Llama 3.1 offers a significant improvement in linguistic understanding compared to previous models, making it better suited for handling complex sentence structures and nuances in languages like Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish. This provides users with a more natural and accurate interaction, especially in multilingual contexts where other models may struggle.
This model is available directly from your browser via Cinclus, and we are continuously working to improve and expand the selection of available models.
We are actively expanding our model selection, ensuring that a wide variety of powerful models will be available over time. Stay tuned for regular updates as new models are integrated into Cinclus.

AI Dipper
The dipper (Fossekallen), Norway’s national bird, is known for its resilience and ability to dive in cold mountain streams. It is especially common in Norway but is also found throughout the Nordic countries. Cinclus is the Latin name for the Dipper and is the name of our Nordic LLMs and cloud services.
WAYSCloud created the concept Cinclus as a test project to increase focus on Norwegian AI and Nordic cloud services.
Cinclus is an early beta from WAYSCloud. We do not have active customer support at this stage, as we aim to let Nordic users test an alternative to the larger American competitors entirely for free.
